Now, with the current market situation, it seems like a lot of people just don’t feel like continuing to look, and also just don’t believe anymore that they’re going to find their first home or their first house.

Now, with the current market situation, it seems like a lot of people just don’t feel like continuing to look, and also just don’t believe anymore that they’re going to find their first home or their first house. Now, my advice is: Let it go. Don’t be influenced by how the current market conditions are.

I know that creates psychology like that as Prices are going up! – Stop thinking about that for a moment and think about the following things:

1. Visualize what you want to buy

It’s super important to project in your mind, in your mind’s eye, yourself already in the future to where you want to live and how you actually see your real estate future. The better you visualize your future, the more likely you are to materialize it.

2. Calculate

Calculating properly, obviously, is very important. Calculating your budget properly, also ask your bank, what the impact is on your monthly budget. And so you’re going to come up with a relatively realistic price for what you can buy. The better prepared you are, the better you will also be able to go to negotiation if you find something that really suits you.

3. Timing

Disconnect yourself from a timeline determined by yourself. Timing is not something you can control. You can do a lot of searching, but the ideal property may not come on the market yet. If you set yourself a deadline: it may as well be that, the day after that deadline, your ideal property will come on the market. So, let go of timing. It will come when it comes, and you will find your ideal property. Just hang in there and keep actively searching.
